Cotton, wool for ambient air application without presence of chemicals in the raw gas*; Polyester, polyamide, acrylic co-polymer for application at low / ambient temperature, even, with moderate concentration of chemicals in the gas*; Polypropylene, polyacrylonitrile for applications at low temperature, in presence of moderate acidic gas or moisture*; Meta-aramide (Nomex®) for hot gas with eventual presence of low concentrated chemicals in the gases; Polyphenylen sulfide (PPS), glass, polyimid (P84®), PTFE : for applications at hot gases and even with medium to high chemical concentration in the flue gases*; Stainless steel fibres for anti-static property and electrical conductivity*; Inflammable or flame retardant fibres : vs. ignition risks or vs. flame propagation.     * The information contained here is a summary of technical literature.
